Discover the wonders of Seaweed in this Poster Launch and Artist Talk.

Creative Ireland have commissioned Artist Marie Connole to create an educational biodiversity poster for the public about Seaweed found along the Clare Coast. The event will take place during Heritage Week with the artist sharing her research during a fascinating talk. The launch of the poster will take place in Clare Museum, 11:15 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday 12 August. All are welcome. 

Copies of the poster will be distributed throughout the libraries in Clare. 

This event coincides with the artist's month-long art exhibition at the Clare Museum. As part of the exhibition the artist has invited renowned Seanchaí/Storyteller Eddie Lenihan to present a linked storytelling event on 12th August at 12pm.
