The commissioning of a mural to enhance and enrich the unsightly wall at Dykegate Street Dingle. The Castleisland – Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District & Dingle Tidy Towns Committee will engage a local artist to paint a mural which will reflect the heritage and culture of the Street and the Town.

Furthermore, the project will:

Consult and engage with local artists and creative groups to help with the design of a mural.

Ensure that residents and visitors value and experience creativity in the design and delivery of this initiative.

Cultivate well-being and encourage people to participate in their creative culture and also in other tidy towns initiatives.

Promote the range, depth and wealth of creativity in the town and the contribution it can play towards creating a better quality of life for all to enjoy.
