We will be celebrating the creativity of our youngest residents in 2024 with an incredibly special exhibition that will be interactive and playful. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office has partnered with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Children and Young People’s Services Committee and Shanganagh Park House Community Childcare to offer an artist/s a commission. 

This commission is to support the development of new art for young children that is created with children from Shanganagh Park House. We will commission an artist/s to create art for the exhibition in May 2024; this will take place in the Municipal Gallery, dlr LexIcon, Dún Laoghaire. The children and early childhood educators from Shanganagh Park House will work with the artist/s to develop and inform this art. They will help you make sure that it is interactive, playful, and suitable for young children.
