ECO SHOWBOAT is a zero-carbon floating arts infrastructure currently being developed by the School of Looking.

The aim is to navigate the inland waterways mobilizing the arts to engage the Irish public on climate change.

The School of Looking is working with local artists in the 5 counties of Connaught exploring climate change through the arts using a variety of art forms; visual arts, literature, poetry, music and performance to connect with the community to develop creative conversations around climate change.

In County Galway the School of Looking will work with a local artist and community to develop creative workshops exploring the biodiversity of Lough Derg.
