Empowering Voices of neurodivergents

Neurodiversity is a concept that accepts humans are different, with unique minds, needs and abilities, moving beyond labels such as autism, dyslexia or ADHD and recognises differences in ability are natural in the human genome and may result in unique gifts and contributions. Three main challenges for neurodivergents are poor social communications, social imagination and social interaction skills resulting in poor education and employment prospects.

This creative arts mentor programme will enable people who are neurodiverse to self-advocate and to encourage an equal Covid-19 recovery for everyone by showcasing their individual creative talents to the community and employers and in doing so increase awareness of neurodiversity by people who are neurodiverse.
