This project addresses an aspect of the material and non-material culture in Donegal and Ireland in an original, imaginative and creative way, through engagement with those involved in the car culture. 

It opens up a dialogue between Boy Racers and those who are not. By allowing Boy Racers a voice and breaking down barriers to understanding, it promotes individual, community and national well-being. 

The project is  an exciting opportunity to explore in theatrical form a lived reality for very many young Donegal men today, disenfranchised men who find solidarity and community in the ‘car head’ community.
