In many of our cultures, songs were handed down from generation to generation, telling stories of place and its people. Often, those songs would remain constant for years and years as communities went through little change. 

However, in our modern times, many of us leave where we first started and make our home somewhere new. What are the songs of our newly emerging communities of place? What sounds would express what we remember and what is new? And what contemporary collective voice would our community co-create together?
