A textile art project based on the local environment of Lough Muckno and Black Island in Castleblayney, County Monaghan. This collaborative initiative will bring together, first and second year students from Our Lady's Secondary School, Art Teacher Karen McArdle and local Textile Artist Siobhan Finnegan. Students will create individual textile art pieces which will be collectively displayed to create a finished Textile Art Wall.  On completion of the project the artwork will be exhibited in local cultural venues.
