FAITÍOS is a short film by Fizz & Chips Productions shooting in Ticknevin County Kildare.

FAITÍOS or The First Fear, was written by Martha Fitzgerald and Orlaith Ní Chearra. An original score to accompany the film has been commissioned by Fizz & Chips Productions. Working with two young Irish emerging actors, Molly Mew and Ross Fitzpatrick, the film will be directed by Martha Fitzgerald assisted by Orlaith Carr. A Director of Photography, Film Editor and Sound Technician will also be employed for the project and the film will be produced to a film festival standard.

Faitíos is an Irish language coming-of-age film that plays with filmic genre and deals with the themes of culturally-inherited sexual shame, adolescent anxiety, and growing up in Ireland.
