'Féile Ealaíne Péacóg' is a youth art festival for young people between the ages of 12 and 18. It will be a bilingual event with an emphasis on the Irish language, and it hopes to promote the Irish language through different art forms. We also hope to encourage young artists to do their work in Irish, and we want to give them a chance to have their work showcased in a bilingual setting.

In the run-up to the festival, secondary school students will be able to submit their pieces of work for the main part of the week - a competition with three prizes available. This work will then be exhibited in 'Bainnlainn Chúl na nGabhar' in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford from the 23rd to the 30th of November. The art will then be moved to the Civic Offices in Dungarvan for judging on the 30th November, and the prizes will be awarded as well on that day.

As part of the finale of the festival, we also plan to host a series of bilingual workshops for the participants, with a special emphasis on the Irish language. This will be held in the Civic Offices on the 30th of November, with all of the entries on display around the venue. we hope that this will be a source of inspiration for the participants and also remind them of what can be achieved through art and the Irish language.
