Barnardos Finglas West Family Resource Centre in partnership with Dublin City North West Area Community Development has developed an after-school programme for children attending two local national schools in Finglas West. The creative after-school group aims to improve the emotional and social wellbeing of the children, offering the children a safe place to play with a variety of activities such as sand play, arts and crafts, jewellery making, slime, cookery, music and gardening.
