First Fortnight Presents Spliced by Timmy Creed at Croke Park

Spliced by Timmy Creed is a critically acclaimed play that has toured to theatre venues, GAA clubs and handball Alleys in Ireland and the UK. “Timmy plays hurling, the fastest field sport in the world. He loves it. He hates it. Honest, brave and hard hitting. Spliced is a visceral account of his struggle to become an individual outside of the sporting institution that raised him.”

This production offers a unique take on toxic masculinity. It is a creative and non-threatening way to open a conversation on mental health with groups, in particular with groups of men. Spliced is a world class production that taps into the GAA values around community, healthy clubs, mental fitness, diversity and inclusion.

We will present SPLICED by Timmy Creed during The First Fortnight Festival of 2023 on January 7th to January 8th at The National Handball Centre, Croke Park the home of GAA.

Booking information will become available at a later date via the First Fortnight website.
