Fite Fuaite 2: Exploring Creativity in Gort

Fite Fuaite 2, meaning “firmly interwoven” or “inextricably mixed up” as Gaeilge, is a series of vibrant workshops designed to engage the Gort community in diverse artistic experiences.

Following last year's success, this year's program is an expansion of last year's and offers a range of options for all ages and interests, fostering creativity, self-expression, and cultural connection. The workshops for this year are as follows;

  • Community Inclusion with Brian Twomey (BOCSI)
  • Finding Strength & Renewal with Mavis Gormally ( Gort Cancer Support Centre)
  • Exploring Celtic Traditions with Esther Blodau
  • Celebrating the Harvest, Lantern Making with Shona MacGillivray
  • From Street Art to Traditional Music with Jim Ricks and Brid Kivneen
  • Connecting with Nature with Fiona Mae White
Fite Fuaite 2 offers diverse artistic experiences, fostering creativity, community engagement, and cultural exploration for all ages and interests in Gort.
