Following on from the 2017 publication of 'Flights of Fancy; Follies, Families and Demesnes in Offaly' written by Rachel McKenna architect with Offaly County Council, the Offaly Creative Ireland team are keen to support the conservation of follies in the county.

This project is identified as a 5 year legacy project which will have a considerable long term effect in the county.

Gloster Arch conservation was supported in 2018,  Ballycumber Folly in 2019 and this year the focus in on Acres' Folly in Tullamore town. This is an ambitious project adjacent to the public park which should widely appreciated when conserved.
