Four Rivers is a new theatre initiative for the South East, headed up by Director Ben Barnes and Producer John O Connell. Working in association with Theatre Royal Waterford, Four Rivers is committed to producing professional theatre in and for the South East of the country (Wexford, Kilkenny, Carlow and Waterford).

As a mainstay of its 2021 inaugural programme, Four Rivers Theatre Company will offer integrated mentorships on its productions to emerging artists and theatre practitioners in the region; or to community-based / amateur artists seeking to transition to full-time work in theatre or the arts.

Positions on offer include:

• Assistant Director
• Assistant to the Lighting Designer
• Production Assistant
• Assistant to the Stage Manager
• Assistant Director

This series will also feature Q and As with the Four Rivers producer, John O Connell and director Ben Barnes and will be hosted by the Director of the Watergate Theatre, Joanna Cunningham.
