Granard Booktown Festival is inspired by the global booktown movement, most notably our neighbours Wigtown in Scotland. Through books and the arts, Granard, a small midlands town, will become Ireland's newest booktown. Using words and literature we will bring speakers, writers and artists to the town over the weekend of Friday 21st April to Sunday 23rd April.
The line up includes special guests Donal Ryan, Mark Tighe, Manchán Magan, David King, Professor Tim Flannery, Adrian Duncan, Sally Hayden and Sinéad Burke.
The full programme of events, talks and conversations is available on Granard Booktown Festival Website and tickets can be purchased from the website or at the Box Office at Knights & Conquest, Granard.
