This project had to be reimagined and adapted in line with current Covid19 guidelines. Community and school workshops were replaced by an online consultation process which is now complete.

The project will now focus on creating a collaborative artwork - a large mural exploring biodiversity in Monasterevin. The collaboration element was included in the consultation process and the artwork will be a result of that.

This project is going to act as a catalyst for a creative regeneration plan of a pathway from Togher Rd to Monasterevin AFC grounds and St Evin’s Park estate. A large mural will be created on one part of the wall, with a plan that other parts of the wall will be used in a follow-up project when possible.

The themes of biodiversity, climate change and local community will be the main theme of the artwork. This project will be guided by the very talented Paul Woods.
