From dreams and flights of the imagination come the realisation of human endeavour

For St Patrick's Festival Limerick we have decided on the parade theme 'One Giant Leap' which celebrates the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong's moon landing and reflects Limerick's dynamic revitalisation in recent years. Lumen Limericks indigenous Street Theatre company are celebrating the moon and man's fascination and nightly inspiration by intrepid explorers by creating fantastic inventions and flights of fancy; such as a Leonardo winged glider, a Victorian hot air balloon and a lunar rover who weave and dance among the stars for Limerick St Patrick's Day Parade.
