Historic Craft Circle
Facilitated by heritage specialist Helena Stackpoole, these weekly workshops aimed at artists, craft practitioners and the public, will teach participants traditional crafts, such as weaving and basketry, and the historical context behind them.
Participants are encouraged to pass on what they learn, helping to revive and sustain endangered craft practices within the community.
The workshops, which are suitable for all skill levels, take place on Wednesdays from April-June and from September-October, with each month focusing on a different craft.
Cost: €5 per workshop. Booking is required by calling 066 712 7777 or emailing education@kerrymuseum.ie as spaces are limited.
