HumanNature is who we are. It is closing our eyes and feeling the warmth of the sun on our skin, rooting our feet on the earth and tasting snowflakes as they fall. It is an invitation to be in the natural environment - to take a step into a tiny forest of your own making, just for you and your neighbours. 

Amach Anseo and Avant Garden will create an imaginative, fun and engaging experience with residents of three estates in Buncrana, The Woods, Earlsfort and Cornmill Ave.

The community picnics will bring to life the Buncrana Miyawaki Forest Project, which aims to plant tiny forests in residential areas of Buncrana and beyond.

During the day, participants will create a vision of the forests, mark out where their forest will be, prepare the area and make bunting and booklets.

Lunch will be provided and residents are invited to bring along picnic blankets and chairs to make the experience comfortable for them.
