As part of Creative Fingal's Inclusive Creativity Programme in collaboration with Fingal Libraries, The Wizard of Creation, Aga Hutcheson will facilitate a series of Age-Friendly Sustainable Fashion Workshops for the members of Swords Women's Shed. Taking place over 11 weeks in Swords Library, sessions will cover: 

•Introduction to Sustainable Fashion 

•Bespoke gloves 

•Sustainable tote bags 

•Turn your old pair of shoes into a Designer Pair 

•Sustainable Clutch Bags 

•How to make a crown with fresh foliage and flowers 

•Bespoke fascinators 

•How to upcycle your preloved jackets 

•Hand-Painted T-Shirts 

•How to reuse broken jewellery 

•Bespoke brooches made from old ties 

Each session will be designed to encourage upcycling, creativity, and sustainability, offering participants a chance to learn practical techniques they can apply to their own wardrobes while minimizing waste. 

Particpants will display the fashion items that they have created at the ShareJoy Bridgerton Dinner Party on Friday, 8th August.
