Fingal

The Creative Fingal Programme is built around themes of identity, culture and citizenship with core operating principles of Collaboration, Communication, Participation, Empowerment and Inclusivity. It will stimulate natural curiosity, enhance and foster understanding, is both novel and strategic in nature

The key strategic priorities underpinning the programme are;

• To develop the Fingal Model of support to artists and creative practitioners
• To develop and provide space for culture and creativity in Fingal County Council
• To design and implement the Fingal STEAM programme in collaboration with third level institutions and industry
• To assess significant cultural collections in Fingal and plan for their care and conservation with appropriate public display and access.
• Mapping Culture in Fingal
• The communication and promotion of Creative Fingal
• To devise and implement the Fingal Commemorations Programme 2018-2023.

Fingal Cruinniú in the Castle

Fingal Cruinniú in the Castle, in celebration of Cruinniú na nÓg, was a day-long event held in Swords Castle on Saturday, June 15. There was Storytime, Circus Performers, Lego Workshops, Art Workshops, a Magic Show and a Puppet Show.
