Waterford City & County Libraries and Music Generation Waterford are embarking on an exciting Intergenerational Music Project working together with the Bealtaine Choir (aged in their 70s, 80s and 90s) and boys and girls from 1st and 2nd class at Kilmacthomas National School, County Waterford.

The project will document the process of using music and song to share stories, express feelings and explore mutual connections within the community. Singing together will create the opportunity for both the children and the older adults to appreciate and learn about their shared identity, heritage and culture. The project will involve singing, writing, an exhibition and a book.
