International Contemporary Tapestry Festival showcasing woven tapestries from Scotland and Ireland.

Frances Crowe is a fibre artist based in Roscommon whose inspiration comes from the landscapes and surroundings of her country studio.

Frances works in a variety of materials, paint, collage, mixed media - but her primary thought process is in fibres. She collects materials such as wool, rope, cotton, and twists and weaves them together to form individual, original works of art.

Her work "Interconnections" will be exhibited in Roscommon and as part of Galway 2020 and in conjunction with the Local Enterprise Office.

Support for this project is linked to Roscommon's Culture and Creativity Strategy 2018-2022 under Priority 2: Creative Communities and the aim that is set out to manage a funding process for initiatives which reflect a sense of place, identity and culture.
