Is Mise Nóinín will be a beautiful Irish Language children's book for children 6-9. 

Set in Erris Co. Mayo the main characters will be a cat, bumblebee, frog, alpaca and wise old man who can speak to animals and knows all the traditional cures! Children will be able to follow the adventure of these characters and how they would traditionally treat a bee sting, sooth a cut or settle an upset stomach!

The book will capture the local Erris dialect and celebrate the beautiful flora and fauna of the area through word and illustrations. 

The author is the award winning Irish Author Nicola Lavelle in partnership with community group Turas Siar.
