For independent songwriters, music videos are invaluable format for presenting new work on a variety of platforms. These are especially valuable when helping to visually communicate the lyrical and musical content of a song.

In this unique collaboration, Kathleen Turner would like to create two bespoke music videos to accompany two original tracks from her first full-length album, Like a Lion, which is due for release on 12th December 2019, launched in Dolan’s Warehouse.

The first video is for the title track, Like a Lion, and will feature award winning aerial artists, Jennifer De Brún, Aisling ní Cheallaigh and Kathryn Cooley. The song explores the subjects of female identity, power and autonomy, themes that will be physically interpreted by the aerialists.

The second video is for the track, Puzzle, which deals with issues of vulnerability and confusion. This will feature the highly experienced aerialist and choreographer, Lee Clayden. Using the apparatus of the spiral, which is in constant circular motion, Clayden will create an original choreography for film.
