The Kerry International Film Festival (Digital project) is a creative response to the current pandemic crisis and the ability to deliver a cultural programme.
The project is a shift to digital delivery of the festival through an online platform. This includes partnering with an established cultural digital provider to support delivery and with additional recruitment of creative technology specialists to support the project administration.

Specifically, the project responds to the Creative Ireland criteria:
-Creative operators to adapt, reposition or reskill themselves or to repurpose their assets/offering to ensure they may continue to connect and engage with their local communities;
-Enabling access to digital skilling and/or introductions to new technologies by creative operators;

The project will also support the organisational mission of support for young, emerging filmmakers and raise the profile of the festival with increased visibility from a potentially worldwide audience.
