Kerry County Libraries are an active partner in the Creative Ireland Kerry programme. In 2020 a series of workshops and events are planned to take place throughout the year, some as part of the Children's Book Festival. Events are suitable for all ages and highlight the important cultural resource and meeting place that is the public branch library network in the county. 

Children's Book Festival 2020 will bring some of Ireland's best authors and illustrators to the children of Kerry. However this year to help keep everyone safe the decision was made to move festival entirely online. All events will be available on the website and social media channels.
