As part of the Mayo Arts Office Upstart programme, a starter artist programme which affords individuals with disabilities to access taster sessions with an experienced artist will be presented.

A number of individuals with mixed skills levels, from various locations in Mayo, will be nominated by various partner organisations such as arts and disability groups and arts centres to participate in the Kickstart pilot project.
