The International Irish Military Veterans Oral History and Heritage project is a trans-national undertaking, aiming to preserve the contribution of Irish service personnel to international peace and democracy worldwide by creating an online portal providing programming and research highlighting the service, history and legacy of the Irish soldier.  It will become an online repository for oral histories and family/personal accounts of those who served and continue to serve.

This project focuses on the stories of veterans from Co Kildare
