'Kindling the Spark' will  offer arts experiences – creative writing, felting, art making, music, samba drumming and dance to patients in healthcare settings and people living in the community and attending day care centres in County Cavan. 

Art is based on a feeling; it can raise the spirits and strengthen the soul and it can fundamentally affect and change an individual. 'Kindling the Spark' will  bring light and hope to what can be a difficult time in a person's life. 

This project will aim to harness the creative potential of people and communities and provide accessible artistic opportunities for people in our communities and in healthcare settings who may face social isolation due to ill health, disability or agedness and will be delivered through Cavan Arts Office.
