Leave the Long Grass Grow is a call to action. It calls artists, communities and individuals to give voice to species facing decline in the biodiversity crisis. It is a call to action and invites artists to engage with their local habitats and ecosystems to bring these species into the visual awareness of communities by celebrating them through creative process.
Leave the Long Grass Grow is the third iteration of the Waking the Seeds Collaborations hosted by the Acorn Project. Waking the Seeds is a multidisciplinary collaboration hosted by The Acorn Project between communities, subject matter experts and a collective of local artists. In these multidisciplinary collaborations we explore our human connection to nature and how we can hold a group vision for nature and her restoration through creative practice, engagement and actions of ecological restoration.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a raincoat for the outdoor workshops.
