Artist Aoife Wims and Praxis Care Mullingar are joining forces on a series of weekly art sessions, culminating in an exhibition of works created. 

This project will be led by recent art graduate and aspiring art therapist Aoife Wims. Praxis Care Mullingar provides day service support, operating under the HSE New Directions Framework, for individuals with mental ill health, learning disabilities, autism, and dementia. Praxis Care celebrates 40 years in this July.

Aoife will be working with Praxis Care Mullingar Day Service, doing arts and crafts with the service users in their centre every Thursday. Artwork created during this project will be displayed in an exhibition in the Mullingar County Buildings, with an event for Culture Night in September.

There will be an exhibition of work in the Mullingar county buildings in September 2024.
