The St Georges Heritage and Visitor Centre will be working the Lighting Designer Micheal Cummings to explore the medium of lighting as a group. The centre and their community group are very interested in discovering the possibilities that lighting can do for the old Church building on site, currently it sits humbly off one of Carrick on Shannon's main streets and they would like to play with this medium to see what they can achieve taking direction from a professional lighting designer. The building lends itself beautifully to this medium as it houses several original stained glass windows  and original architectural features internally and externally.
