Carrick Environmental Group are exploring and researching the possibility of creating a physical structure in which a person is invited to sit and listen to the sounds of the natural world surrounding them. They propose to create a space of sonic engagement for the public using Acoustic Ecology - a sound escape in an oasis of flora, where an individual can enter and sit with the natural music of insects, vegetation, and birds. Currently this project in an experimental research phase.
