Little Inklings Art Interactions at Craobh Rua
Working with toddlers and their mothers, artists Susan Farrelly, Caoimhe O’Dwyer, Una Curley and Jennifer Slater will facilitate a multidisciplinary early years arts experience through the creation of a temporary outdoor sculpture garden. This playful installation will allow opportunities for co-constructed play, music, art and mark-making experiences for all participants.
During five weekly sessions prior to the temporary garden installation, individual sculptural pieces, simple musical instruments, process art and vision boards will be made together in group sessions. These objects will be made to facilitate the creation of an open structure for installation at the Craobh Rua Garden. Together as a group, participants can then play, hide, make art and music within this structure. Construction of simple instruments will give participants the opportunity to explore sound, music, colour, shape, texture and play which will be documented through sound recordings and photographs.
Booking details will be available on the Craobh Rua Facebook page at a later date.
