Little Things, Big Difference is a collaborative project.  It aims to creatively engage targeted communities across Galway City, to develop a health-related resource, in the form of a calendar.  
The project involves establishing 4 new creative groups, made up of residents of different ages from diverse backgrounds in 4 accessible locations across the West, Centre and East of the city. Each group will learn about supports and activities that are available to them in their local community and how accessing these supports, or participating in the various activities, can enhance their well-being.  

Each group will work with an artist, to develop a number of pieces of art that they feel reflects what they have learned about the supports, activities and their impacts.  

The information and the artwork will then be used to create a calendar.  The workshops will take place between April and October and will culminate in a community event, to display the artwork and launch the calendar.  The purpose of the calendar is to engage participants creatively, in developing a resource for themselves, as well as the residents of Galway City, as a whole.  There will be a number of calendars printed but it will also be available online, so it can reach a wider audience and be updated easily, in the future.
