The  aim of the ‘Made in Laois’ co-create Grant Scheme is to bring together a creative practitioner / organisation and collaborate with a local community / communities of place and interest*.

The grant scheme is only for co-creation and collaborative initiatives that contribute to creative and cultural activities within Laois.

Community of place is a group of people that live in the same area, while a community of interest is a group of people brought together through a common interest,  for example a heritage group, literary group, historical society, community drama group, artists collective, community choir, makerspace, school, etc.

This is the third round of the scheme which was initiated in 2020 under the Job Stimulus Fund. 

The  scheme supports collaborations / co-creations that

1. Places creativity at the heart of our communities

2. Contributes to Innovative place-making initiatives / projects

3. Develops Collaborations between creatives and local communities / initiatives

4. Enhances local cultural and creative infrastructures

Deadline for submissions is Monday 28 March, 4pm
