Mandala Co Creation workshops
One day co creation mandala workshop in Roscommon and Boyle. These workshops are designed to bring people together to create beautiful, large mandalas using natural materials found in the surrounding environment and flowers bought from local suppliers. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience the therapeutic benefits of mandala creation in nature.
Workshop 1 is on June 6th in Riverside Yoga studio in Boyle
Workshop 2 is on June 20th in The Cube Flexispace, Roscommon Town
Diversity and integration will be encouraged in the recruitment and identifying of groups for the workshops. Drawing or colouring a mandala allows one to project emotions and experiences, giving back an image of one's emotional state: when one is in harmony, the mandala reflects balance and serenity. The ancient art of mandala is around for thousands of years. It is an inner creative process supporting people to come together create a connection with each other, it supports mental focus, wellbeing, stress management. Mandala can increase connection with nature and local community. It is a powerful practice that can transform lives and bring about a sense of calm. Today’s mandalas can be used to connect with ones higher self, it is a portal into the unconscious mind, encourages resilience, helps the mind to slow down, a unique way of expression, helps lower blood pressure and brings the body into equilibrium.
