Artist Paul Woods will paint two public artworks (murals) exploring local fauna, flora and biodiversity in the town of Monasterevin.

The aim of this project is to create two public artworks (murals)  exploring local fauna, flora and biodiversity in Monasterevin Town. Building on a very successful public art intervention - a mural exploring nature and biodiversity in a neglected area of the town – these two  murals will explore similar themes and engage the community in a similar way.

The artistic process involved research and consultation with the community (online).

The project is visually exploring the  locality and its topography and , nature  - tying in with the development of the Waterways Blueway.
