The project consists of a 4-week series of creative workshops designed for children aged 5 and above facilitated by Anna Wiercioch, a local artist. These workshops will take place every Monday, with separate sessions for two age groups: a one-hour session for the younger group (5-6 years old) and a 1.5-hour session for the older group.
During the first two weeks, the workshops will focus on rhythm and music exploration through a drumming circle. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with various percussion instruments such as djembes, cajuns, steel drums, and shakers. These sessions aim to foster a sense of rhythm, teamwork, and self-expression among the children.
In the subsequent two weeks, the focus will shift to visual arts, including acrylic painting and recycling art. Participants will explore their creativity through painting with acrylics and creating artwork using recycled materials. The visual art workshops aim to develop artistic skills, encourage environmental awareness, and promote creative expression.
The target audience for this project is children aged 5 and above, with separate sessions tailored to accommodate different age groups. The primary aim is to provide a stimulating and inclusive creative environment where children can explore various art forms, develop their skills, and express themselves artistically. Through engaging in both music and visual arts activities, participants will enhance their creativity, teamwork abilities, and appreciation
