Music Generation is a national partnership programme whose mission is to create inspiring experiences for children and young people through music.

Music Generation Longford have partnered with Longford Library Services to offer instrument rental to all young people under 18 years in County Longford.  Instruments are presently held at Ballymahon and Granard libraries but rental can be arranged for a member of any of the six library branches in County Longford.  

Rental costs range from €10 to €40 depending on the instrument, and there is a refundable deposit required in the same amount.  A leaflet with full details of charges is available at libraries.
