New Quay Pop-Up Museum

Unlike a traditional museum that holds objects in a permanent collection, a pop-up museum explores objects and stories from a local community brought together for a single event. Through these objects and stories, a journey is created by sparking memories of times gone past.

The community of New Quay in County Clare will be encouraged to bring objects to our pop-up-museum event which is run by the award-winning historian Sharon Slator through New Quay Community Development Group. The event will take place in Flaggy Shore Information Centre on Thursday 19 and 26 October 2023 from 11am to 5pm.
