Market House Craftworks in Cappoquin hosts "New Reality" a Festival of Collage and a celebration of contemporary collage in Ireland. New Reality is a collaborative project involving Market House Craftworks and co-curators, Artists Silvio Severino and Una Gildea.

The central exhibition will showcase the work of more than 20 collage artists living and working in Ireland. For this, each artist has created a new piece using the theme "New Reality" as inspiration.

Complementing the exhibition are a series of presentations, collage workshops, screenings of animation films inspired by collage and the award winning film "Tomorrow is Saturday" the documentary on Seán Hillen, one of the exhibiting artists.

On the Saturday evening there will be a concert of music by Mamacha, a band whose music is a soundscape of musical sounds from around the world.

The festival runs from the 10th to 12th of September at Market House Craftworks, Cappoquinn P51 KD37 and the exhibition will be open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 5pm until the 1st of October. Full details and booking information will be available soon on the Market House Craftworks website.
