In the first three years of the project, service users from St. Hilda’s Services Athlone and Athlone Rehab Care came to the Dean Crowe Theatre for twelve weekly sessions each autumn. They participated in dance and art workshops. The season culminated in a public performance.

This year, the One Tribe project will aim to return to more traditional, fully in-person activities, culminating in a public performance at the Dean Crowe Theatre. Participants will attend drama, dance and art classes at the Dean Crowe Theatre on a weekly basis during May, June and July. Breaking in August for the annual summer break, we will return in September to prepare a open evening showing at the Dean Crowe on Friday 7th October 2022, the Show will run from 10th to 15th October. 

The entire team and all the participants are in great need of in-person collaboration, communication, a sense of togetherness and most importantly a sense of normality following the difficulties of the last two years. This is an opportunity for all the service users to return to community involvement and participate in life more fully once again.
