Digitising the Saoirse O' Dochartaigh collection will make available to the general public a treaure trove of a significant collection of recordings, made on audio tape, many of which are not currently in the public domain.  They encompass a rich array of folk music, oral histories, genealogical information, and personal reflections, and offer valuable insights into the cultural and historical fabric of Donegal and the wider cross-border region.
