Kerry Biosphere’s & Creative Ireland Kerry’s ‘Our planet, your biosphere’, is a strategic initiative that started in 2020 and will run for a number of years. It aims to encourage community well-being through arts and heritage engagement with the native habitats and species of the Kerry Biosphere Reserve and to raise awareness of the part we, as stewards of the land, play in protecting nature and biodiversity.

Heritage Workshops delivered by local experts and focusing on both natural and cultural heritage will be offered to schools and community groups within the Kerry Biosphere area. 

Ecology of the Biosphere will be delivered online by local experts, community members and farmers and will explore the connection between environment and well-being, by focusing on local natural and cultural heritage.
