Our Vision Our Voice 2024

Our Vision Our Voice art project fosters creativity, inclusivity, removes barriers and explores mental health, showing artists recovery journey while educating viewer attitudes and overcoming stigma.

Our Vision Our Voice 2024 project is the continuation of a 7-year collaboration between Mullingar Mental Health Association, the HSE Mental Health Services (service users and Occupational Therapy staff) and visual artist Rosaleen Heavin.

Participants will engage in a brainstorming session to identify themes for the project, which will inform the artistic response to these topics using mobile phones, camera, paintings, writings and any form of art.

Public exhibition of printed, framed works in The Atrium, Co. Buildings, Mullingar around 10th October 2024 to mark World Mental Health Day.

Making art accessible to a diverse group of people on their mental health recovery journey, encourage abilities, learn a new skill, promote independence and inclusion and improve public perception.

This programme is available to all mental health service users in Westmeath. They will be notified of the content and dates and will have an opportunity to join up if interested. Keep an eye on Our Vision Our Voices website for details of a public exhibition of this project.
