PAINT + MAKE will introduce children to Primary School children and their teachers to Process Painting.

Process painting is all about the paint and the moment, the participants get to play with the paint, explore pattern and colour, there is no end goal (or at least we don’t want to be conscious of the end goal), just to enjoy the process. This will be the first workshop.  

The second workshop we will look at our paintings and respond to them;  what do we see in them? What could they become? We can use markers, pastels or scissors and paste to alter the paintings, turning them into something new. Children can make individual works or group pieces, this will be up to the individual participants.
