Ciara McKenna, professional artist will work with the community in Ballydribeen to design and create a mural.

This project will aim to give the children in the community the chance to participate in creating something positive in the area. The theme to include the lovely surroundings, the river Denagh and nature, for example 'Doirin Alainn' (name of one of the estates) means 'beautiful wooded area'. The names of the other estates also reflect nature.  We hope the mural will be something that will lift the residents’ spirits, but also knowing that their children participated and that they had a chance to have their say with regards to the theme.
